Proceeds benefit client activities at our Adult Day Health Care Center.
$8 per plate (salad, bread and cookie). Pick up from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at our 875 Royce Street facility.
Free delivery of orders of 8 or more plates. Deadline to order is Friday, August 20.

The Pensacola group meets on the last Thursday of each month at Council on Aging of West Florida, 875 Royce Street, at 6 PM.
Our caregiver support groups are provided to support all caregivers, regardless of the condition or illness of the person being cared for, including grandparents caring for/raising grandchildren or relatives caring for a disabled adult. The groups are non-disease specific and county of residence is not a requirement to attend at any location. Attendance is free and new members are welcome to join at any time.
- 8/28/2010 - SONIC Fundraiser
SONIC Drive-Ins throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties will hold a fundraiser for Council on Aging of West Florida from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.Ten percent of all net proceeds will be donated to our organization.

The Milton group meets on the first Thursday of every month at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 6451 Park Avenue, at 6 p.m.
Our caregiver support groups are provided to support all caregivers, regardless of the condition or illness of the person being cared for, including grandparents caring for/ raising grandchildren or relatives caring for a disabled adult. The groups are non-disease specific and county of

The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Santa Rosa County Library, 8484 James M. Harvell Road, at 5:30 p.m.

Second Thursday of each month at 6 PM at Homewood Suites by Hilton, 5049 Corporate Woods Drive, Pensacola.
As part of the effort to support seniors, we are offering this support group specifically for grandparents caring for/raising grandchildren of all ages and other relatives caring for/raising children.
Council on Aging of West Florida will provide dinner through Homewood Suites evening Manager’s Reception featuring light dinner fare and salad bar.

The Gulf Breeze Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Blake of Gulf Breeze, located at 4410 Gulf Breeze Parkway (Hwy 98), at 6 PM.
Our caregiver support groups are provided to support all caregivers, regardless of the condition or illness of the person being cared for, including grandparents caring for/raising grandchildren or relatives caring for a disabled adult. The groups are non-disease specific and county of residence is not a requirement to attend at any location. Attendance is free and new members are welcome to join at any time.
On site, free respite is being offered to those caregivers who need assistance with their loved one during this period. Reservation for the respite service is required in advance at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting. Respite reservations can be made by calling Brooke Hicks at The Blake at 934-4306. - 9/16/2010 - Century Caregiver Support Group
The group meets on the third Thursday of each month. Begining with the October meeting, the group will meet at a new location at Century Care Center 6020 Industrial Blvd at 6pm.

- 10/21/2010 - Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Seeks Volunteers for Community
Our RSVP department is seeking volunteers interested in serving the community. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program matches the interests of volunteers with the needs of more than 35 local non-profit organizations.
A volunteer recruitment and orientation session will be held on Thursday, February 18 from 10:00 a.m. until noon in room 412 of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, located at 5725 North 9th Avenue.
