Lauren Watkins is the Development Manager for Council on Aging of West Florida. In 2023, she received her Bachelor’s in English with a focus on Creative Writing at the University of West Florida. She is working on her Master’s in the same subject, with an expected graduation date of August 2025. Previously, she served at the University of West Florida Library procuring free textbooks and materials for undergraduate students.
Lauren is also on the editorial board of Venus Hour, a speculative literary magazine. She frequently assists with local activist poetry events, including creating marketing materials, designing websites, etc. She is committed to the city of Pensacola and its community and hopes to bring fantastic results to COAWFLA.
