ROSE CREIGHTONThe Retreat Director

Rose Creighton serves as Director of The Retreat Adult Day Program. She has a BA in accounting from the University of West Florida. Prior to coming to work at the Council on Aging she has almost 30 years of experience working with individuals with dementia and other memory disorders. She has been an Executive Director for several assisted living facilities with locked memory care units, and she has also worked in a skilled nursing facility. With her experience in these areas, she is better able to help caregivers through the difficulties of caring for someone with cognitive impairment.

Rose is active in many organizations in our community and advocates for the rights of those who cannot fight for themselves any longer. She has a passion for helping others and bringing joy into their lives. She believes not only her, but her entire team needs to work hard every day to bring joy to the participants that attend The Retreat and to make a difference each day in their lives.
