With temperatures only on the rise, heat can be extremely dangerous for aging adults including risk of stroke and heat exhaustion.
Council on Aging of West Florida and WEAR ABC 3 with Cat Country 98.7, NewsRadio1620, and Magic 106.1 FM are seeking the community%u2019s donations of new air conditioner units and fans at their %u201CSenior Chill Out%u201D on %u201D on Friday, July 8th, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at select area Lowe%u2019s Home Improvement stores.
Donations can be made at the following locations:
· Lowe's on Fairfield Drive in Pensacola
· Lowe's on 9 Mile Road in Pensacola
· Lowe's on Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze
